Happy Face!

She was so proud of herself!
Madison taught herself how to draw a happy face! And now...that's all she draws!
Madison's beautiful happy faces! I made the green circles and she added the face, and then she made the blue face ALL by herself!

This is what she did for the rest of the day! Over and Over and Over again!

Visit with Grandparents!

The girls loved spending time with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa!
Great Grandma and Emily!
My Grandparents came to visit last week and the girls were so good. Grandma-ma got to feed Emily, and Emily even smiled for her! Grandpa-pa taught Madison a song that he used to sing to me when I was her age! We all had lunch together and were able to catch up on what's been going on. Thankyou so much for visiting and I hope to see you guys again soon!Great Grandpa teaching Madison "Rainbow Bread"!!!

Madison's faces...

I've been teaching Madison emotions and here are the ones she has learned so far. She really gets into them! She now tells me when she's happy or sad, so I know she understands the emotions and she is learning what it means to be happy, sad or mad!
"Show me HAPPY"

"Now PRETTY"

"Now show me MAD"

"And last one, show me SAD"

And here is my little Emily just hanging out!

Great Weekend!

My pretty girls at the park!
It was such a nice weekend! Blain got home at 11:30 on Friday! Such a treat! We went out and got a couple movies and dinner and just stayed up late together! The only down-side, Friday night, Emily decided to wake up every hour and a half! Needless to say, I was VERY tired Saturday and so the plans we had to go to Family Dinner in San Jose that day didn't happen because I wasn't feeling well due to lack of sleep and Emily was especially cranky all day! The weather smelled of fall and so we turned on the heater for the first time and cozied up under blankets on Saturday!

The CUTEST smile EVER!
On Sunday, we decided to go to Costco with the girls! They were both so good! Madison spent the first part of the trip riding on Daddy's shoulders and Emily was content in the front carrier! Besides the ridiculous amount of money we spent (so glad we only go a few times a year!), it was a great outing and we celebrated with a Costco pizza!
Madison's heart shaped sandwich! This is how she wants her lunch now!

Blain was home on Monday and Madison was so happy! We all went to the park in the morning and while Emily and I hung out, Madison and Blain were running around, climbing and sliding! Afterward we went and did some dress blues shopping, picking out sizes and getting all the little things Blain needs for his blues. (He hopes to get them in time for the Marine Corps ball!) The girls once again did great! When we got back, it was nap time for both of them and we just laid around the rest of the day!
It was such a nice weekend and last night, Emily made up for her sleepless Friday night by sleeping a full 6 hours! So I got to sleep from 10:30-4:30!!! (and then from 5-7:45) Hope this finds everyone doing well!

The girls...

While at my parent's house, I realized that I didn't have pictures of the girls and I. These are my favorites. Above is me and my beautiful two month old baby girl!!!
Both of my girls!
My Momma and Madison and Emily's Nana!
My big beautiful girl! (And goofy in the background!)
My sissy and the girls' Auntie Michelle (or as Madison says "Auntie Mersh!")

My Date with my Daddy!

On Saturday, I got to go on a date with my Daddy! I've been looking forward to this for a month and we had such a good time. He was going to a wedding and asked me to go with him. The girls and I drove over to Patterson on Friday and on Saturday my Momma babysat while I got a night out!
The wedding was at University of the Pacific. The Chapel was gorgeous and the ceremony brought tears to my eyes!
These are the "Burgandy Bros"- Left to Right: My dad, Mark, Mr. Ambrosino, Bob (Father of the Bride) and Kip!
Two VERY good looking guys!
Here's to a great night out with my Daddy!
