I am 25!

My 25th birthday was yesterday! Despite the unbearably cold wind, it was a nice weekend. On Saturday we got Panda Express for lunch (a tradition for us) and after the girls took their naps, I was in the mood to use the gift certificates I got! So we went to Kohl's and Old Navy. Apparently Blain was in more of a shopping mood than I was and he had me try on LOTS and LOTS of clothes...all of which he picked out for me! Needless to say, he wanted to spoil me a bit and so I got some very nice summer clothes! A pair of shorts (my first since before I was married!), a jean skirt (which makes me feel young!) and like 5 or 6 shirts! One of my most favorite birthday items is the curling iron my momma got me! I have had curly hair since Thursday! It's so nice to feel pretty and that feeling's been long overdue!

Sunday was just like any other day; grocery shopping, lunch, naps and playtime. The weather was so bad, we had no desire to be outside. But I did get a delicious ice cream cake from my parents! So when the girls went to bed, Blain and I snuggled up, watched some Stargate Atlantis and indulged in a very heavenly dessert!

Madison's Birthday part One!

Madison's birthday celebration started Friday with an afternoon opening presents and having lunch with Nana and Papa! We met my mom at Casa De Fruta in the morning and spent an hour walking around, playing at the playground and on all the trains they have around. We opened lots of presents. Some of her favorite presents included:

-Candyland

-Sunflower garden kit

-Dora bubble bucket

-Bubble machine

-Tea set

-Matching dresses for both girls!

Birthday part One, Cont...

Madison got a Dora bubble bucket from Auntie Michelle! She loves it and I love that it's a no spill bucket!!!
We're moving on to "big kid" games! Candyland is her very first board game! Thanks Nana and Papa!!!

After we played at Casa De Fruta, we met my Dad in San Juan and had lunch together! It was such a beautiful day and if you have never gone to San Juan for a burger from JJ's...YOU MUST!!! They are delicious!

Happy Birthday Michelle!

My little sister is now 22 years old! Last weekend the girls and I went down to Patterson to go to a birthday dinner for Michelle. We had a great time visiting and a super yummy dinner!

The girls...

Madison was so excited because she drew a dog for the first time! I love watching her work at trying to get the picture right, it's amazing how she can see me draw it and then copy it. She can now draw a sun, a dog and she is currently working on a spider! I don't know why, but she loves trying to draw a spider and she's almost got it!And my miss Emily...well, she is still not rolling over, she screams when she's on her tummy and she is struggling with sitting up...but she is just so beautiful that I can't find it in me to dwell on the other stuff! She did however slouch into a Little Tikes chair yesterday and watched Madison draw!
